We value teamwork, respect and support as the RN’s exhibit leadership qualities in the care of patients’ needs in our high-quality compassionate emergency medical care facility. The RN’s have primary responsibility to provide direct patient care and to collaborate with other disciplines of the ER team to ensure the delivery of safe, timely and appropriate quality care through applying sound experience and knowledge base. Emergency care experience includes knowledge and skills in assessing, analyzing, diagnosing, outcome identification and planning of patient needs. Team member approach and excellence in customer service required.

This position is part of a specialized team that is trained in the recognition and treatment of urgent to emergent patients, responding to patient’s needs, accurate completion of documentation, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Due to the Emergency Room setting, the RN may be given additional responsibilities including rooming patients, assisting in other patient care as needed.

Minimum Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school/college of nursing; Certificates in Advanced Cardiovascular Life
  • Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Cardiovascular Life Support (PALS) required
  • Current registered nurse licensure in the State of Texas
  • Minimum 1-year RN emergency room experience, necessary to meet established quality standards
  • Knowledge of accepted infection control measures
  • Experience in documenting patient findings in an electronic health record and assist in other ER duties as needed
  • Verifiable current Healthcare Provider (BLS) or Professional Rescuer CPR certification
  • Physical Requirements include bending, stooping, lifting, carrying, hearing/listening, manual dexterity, pushing/pulling, seeing, speaking
  • Availability for varying shifts (ER is open 24/7, 7-days per week to include holidays)

The Registered Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) is a valuable team member who provides extraordinary care in making patients feel comfortable and at ease, especially in this Emergency Room setting. The Rad Tech is responsible for performing medical imaging examinations under the direction of a physician.

This position is part of a specialized team that is trained in the recognition and treatment of urgent to emergent patients for exams, responding to patient’s needs, accurate completion of documentation, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Due to the Emergency Room setting, the Rad Tech may be given additional responsibilities to include patient room assignment, taking patient vitals and providing other patient care as needed within the scope of practice of the tech.

Minimum Requirements

  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Current Radiology Technologist (RT) licensure in the state of Texas
  • Minimum 1-years experience with proficiency in determining proper exposure and settings on radiographic machines, patient positioning for a wide variety of studies
  • Knowledge of accepted infection control measures
  • Experience in documenting radiologic studies in an electronic health record and assist in radiology clerical duties as needed
  • Verifiable current Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescuer CPR certification
  • Physical Requirements include bending, stooping, lifting, carrying, hearing/listening, manual dexterity, pushing/pulling, seeing, speaking
  • Availability for varying shifts (ER is open 24/7, 7-days per week to include holidays)

Weekend and Night shift needed.
