After suffering for 4 straight weeks of 2 misdiagnoses, 3 rounds of 3 different antibiotics and shots, these guys are the ones who got me better & found that I had 2 patches of Pneumonia in my left lung. Not strep, not laryngitis... Pneumonia. I’m so glad I chose to go here to get treated properly & not die... So big shout out to The ER on Soncy here in Amarillo. Please choose these guys for your future emergencies, they are absolutely amazing & the friendliest people I’ve ever met!read more

This place is amazing!! I had some persistent abdominal pain and my primary physician was out of town, so I went in to see them for a CT scan. They got me in immediately, got my pain under control, got my CT scan and a sonogram done. The scans showed slight signs of appendicitis but were still inconclusive. After ruling out everything except appendicitis, the doctor called a surgeon at BSA to get a second opinion. I was immediately transported to BSA for extensive testing and ended up having my appendix removed. I went in to the ER thinking I just had some stomach bug but they took it very seriously and exhausted all options. They treated me with the utmost respect and kindness. I highly recommend this place! Dr. Rose and Dr. Rickwartz were incredible! As well as all the nurses and staff. Thank you!!read more

Consummate professionals. They get you right in, the doctors are friendly, the nurses remember you (I’ve had persistent heart issues) and have great relationships with their patients. Sarah is a wonderful nurse whose excellent memory and great sense of humor diffuses the stress that comes with needing urgent medical care. I have never had anything but a positive experience with everyone here.read more

I decided to go the ER on Soncy last night due to incredible pain and etc. The doctor, nurses and receptionist were all incredible. The doctor listened to my concerns and I really appreciated that considering the care I’ve dealt with recently. Both nurses, Randall and Ed were amazing and treated me like I mattered. I had bloodwork, an ultrasound and was monitored to the fullest. They were really so wonderful to me and I will ALWAYS recommend them vs. having to deal with the ER times at the local hospitals. I know that I will continue to go there if I ever have another issue! Thank you for the fantastic care, all!read more

My son is a student at WT. He went there last night and Dr. Foster was WONDERFUL! He called me and spoke to me in detail regarding my sons allergic medication reaction. He answered all my questions, was very patient, professional, and thorough. He didn’t mind me questioning the treatment plan and was very helpful. Highly recommend!read more

The staff was amazing with our 5 year old! From the sweet lady at the front desk, to the 2 nurses, and all the way to the doctor. We were in and out within an hour. I would highly recommend going here if needed.read more

We have visited the ER on Soncy twice within one month! The staff is caring and compassionate. We were seen both times immediately and appreciated the individualized care our children received. The doctors were thorough and took the time to listen to our concerns. The facilities are clean and they even have a well stocked toy box for their little patients! I had to make a trip to the ER last night. (boo) but I have got to say that this was probably the most pleasent medical experience I've ever had, considering the circumstance. Everyone was very polite and spent plenty of time explaining everything. Not pushy at all. While I hope I don't have to go back or take anyone in my family any time soon, I certinally wouldn't hesitate to visit again! Top notch operation!read more

Today was the second time I’ve been and I am so grateful this place is here. Once for my daughter and this time for myself. They are equipped to give all the test that the hospitals give with out the expense and wait times. I was even given a discount for being a teacher! Thank you So much for taking such great care of me on Christmas Day night! I’m sure y’all would’ve loved to be home with your families but you were all nothin but very nice and the facility was extremely clean. After sitting 2 hours in the ER we left and came here and they got us right in and comfortable and we were out in no time. Thank you so much! I tripped on stairs today, fell, and dislocated my shoulder. This was the most excruciating pain I have ever experienced in my life. I just have to brag about my care at the ER on Soncy. They got me in immediately. They made me as comfortable as they possibly could. They set me up on an IV, sedated me, and had my shoulder put back in place and out the door in 2 hours. Thank you to everyone that assisted in my care today! You made this unfortunate event so much more tolerable for me! �read more

EXCEPTIONAL,SINCERE EMPATHY /SYMPATHY,INTELLIGENT care....no matter who you come in contact with,nor the time day/night. They have cared(YES,ACTUALLY CARED) for both my son and my daughter(twice in one day)with emotion and intelligence that is rarely,if EVER,seen in today's ER setting. This intelligence & emotion,as well as making both my kiddos & me feel completely at ease, are just a couple of the things that have made us "forever patients." Trust me,one will NOT be disappointed! I had to visit the ER on Soncy today (nothing major) what an amazing experience especially when medical stuff is involved. (That is never fun) fantastic facility the staff was beyond amazing and I was treated quickly and thoroughly. I didn't feel like I hardly had to wait at all. They were so personable and I truly felt like they cared. This maybe the best patient care I have ever received. Not to mention they accept my insurance and are in network!read more
